Lauter Lampen is a prop house . We rent out historical and contemporary lamps. Lauter Lampen rents
exclusively to companies and persons who are entrepreneurs in the sense of § 14 BGB (German Civil Code).
The following terms and conditions for rental transactions with Lauter Lampen apply exclusively.
Any terms and conditions of the hirer that deviate from or conflict with the terms and conditions of
Lauter Lampen will not be recognised.
All rented items, accessories and packaging provided remain the property of Lauter Lampen.
Subletting by the hirer is not permitted.
The rental period begins on the day of collection or delivery and ends on the day of the agreed
return or collection of the rented items.
The hirer is responsible for the timely return of the object/good/lamp.
Deviations from this rule must be confirmed in writing by Lauter Lampen.
All prices shown are net prices, ex stock from our warehouse in Glaucha plus statutory VAT.
The rental fee is charged per day. Sundays and public holidays within the rental period will not be charged.
In case of late return, we charge the full daily rate for each overdraft day without discount possibility.
If Lauter Lampen is prevented from fulfilling existing subsequent contracts due to the hirer
exceeding the rental period, the hirer, as the person responsible, is obliged to pay damages.
Pick-up of rented objects is possible during business hours.
Pick-up outside normal working hours can be arranged by telephone.
In principle, the hirer has the option of using the objects borrowed from us during business hours.

Collection outside our business hours is possible by telephone arrangement.
Our warehouse is located in 04720 Glaucha , Schweimnitzerweg 17.
At the request of the hirer, we can organise delivery of the rental items to a previously stated
address. In such a case, we will commission a parcel service, a forwarding agent or drive our own vehicles.
Delivery costs depend on the distance , the ordered quantity and the rental period and are to be paid by the hirer.
All luminaires are carefully packed by Lauter Lampen in the Glaucha warehouse and handed over to
delivery. Any existing damage will be noted on the delivery note.
If the hirer discovers damage to luminaires that was not noted on the delivery note, this must be
documented immediately after becoming known and reported to Lauter Lampen in writing.
The is liable for any damage occurring during the rental period. This does not include damage that
can be explained by normal wear and tear. The hirer is not entitled to arrange for repairs to
objects rented from Lauter Lampen or to carry them out himself.
In the event of total loss due to theft or damage during the rental period, Lauter Lampen will
demand compensation.
The amount depends on the replacement value of the lost object and includes an appropriate
compensation for the time required for the replacement and the loss of use.

Lauter Lampen rents out luminaires exclusively without illuminants and for decorative purposes only.
If the hirer intends to connect luminaires borrowed from us to a mains supply, all luminaires
intended for this purpose must be checked by a qualified electrician beforehand. The connection of the
luminaires to the mains supply may only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
The hirer must ensure compliance with the accident prevention regulations.
